Jordan Stork

I write and consult about how people actually behave around technology. My background is psychology first and machine learning second, which is the order that matters for this work. The interesting failures are rarely in the code. They are in what the design of the code does to the person using it.

Credentials

  • B.S. in Psychology, Rockford University.
  • M.S. in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Colorado State University Global. Expected December 2026.
  • Board Certified Autism Technician, with applied behavioral work in the field.
  • Sole proprietor of Deeez Nuuuts Consulting LLC, an Illinois limited liability company.

What I do

I do independent research on how large language models fail, including how they can be pushed into producing confident false information. I write a public blog that takes apart the documents and interfaces people agree to without reading, most recently a three part series on how privacy policies function inside the rent to own industry. I host a podcast on the same subjects. I also do direct consulting work for individuals and small organizations: reviewing suspicious debt and scam notices, running public records checks, and explaining what a company is actually doing with someone’s data.

Why the name

The business name is a joke. The work is not. People shut down when this material is presented in the register it usually arrives in, which is the register of a compliance training video. A name that makes someone laugh gets them to read the second paragraph. That is the whole strategy.

What I am not

I am not a lawyer and I do not give legal advice. I am not a licensed clinician and I do not diagnose anyone. What I offer is clarity about what a document says, what a system is doing, and what your realistic next steps are.
